Thanks to all who came to our first show back in action… It was great to see everyone together again, and a pleasant surprise to still have support after being out of the show business for almost 3 years.

Our next show is this Saturday, October 23rd at Drunken Unicorn: Sorry No Ferrari’s CD Release show, in support of their album Ternary. $8 gets you in the show and a copy of the new CD. The album is an intense prog journey, and the band was kind enough to ask me to play a guest solo.

From Exile was essentially a studio project through 2009. Our newly finished effort, “Monolith”, has been met with praise from all parts of the world – truly a testament to the era in which we live and the capacity for an independent band to reach far and wide. With our record finally finished and available, we are preparing an epic From Exile live show for 2010.

But you knew that. Of course we are bringing this monster recording to life… But there are even bigger plans at work:

We are planning on releasing another recording, an EP, in the first half of 2010… More details to come, but I can divulge that it will be cover songs and it will be given away 100% for free on our website, http://www.fromexile.com . This mailing list will be the first place that the recording is exclusively available, along with behind the scenes studio footage.
